About Us

The Heart Failure Clinical Research Network (HFN) is made up of nine Regional Clinical Centers and their affiliated sites, whose investigators provide scientific leadership in the collaborative development of the Network’s scientific agenda.  Due to a large sample size, some protocols may require additional, independent sites that participate in only a single protocol (e.g., LIFE).

The HFN Coordinating Center manages all aspects of the Regional Clinical Centers including both data and clinical coordination. The HFN is led by the study chair, Dr. Eugene Braunwald and by the NHLBI Medical Officer, Dr. Patrice Desvigne-Nickens.
